Finding inspiration in the often unnoticed beauty of humble organic forms, Ana loves creating compelling and unique handmade jewellery

At its heart, Ana's Botanica Collection is a celebration of natural beauty, born out of a child-like wonder and a sense of discovery. Experimenting with these textures and shapes, Ana lends her craftsmanship and an eye for balance and detail, to find combinations which help them evolve into original and distinctive pieces of jewellery.

You just have to wear the gumnut hook earrings, which The Guardian newspaper compared to “miniature chandeliers”, and it just seems so simple and obvious. As if this is exactly what they were made for.

Ana continues to explore these themes in her Telegraf Collection and her latest Collection, Nina. With a growing list of loyal clients, which include Hollywood actress Diane Lane and interior design guru Jocasta Innes, Ana’s ‘discoveries’ are sure to find broader appeal as they themselves are more widely discovered.

Ana Verdun studied jewellery design and silversmithing in her native South America before training at the Escola Massana in Barcelona and finally settling in London in 2004. She designs and makes all her jewellery from her studio in Chiswick, west London.
